From Phone Calls to Field Side: A Heartfelt Moment for Our Recruiter at the Games

This month, something special happened. Our Talent Acquisition Specialist had the opportunity to attend the Islamic Association of Canada' s Community Games event in Toronto—an incredible occasion not just for the athletes and spectators, but for our team as well. For the second time, we had the honour of staffing the first aid booth with our dedicated nurses—and our recruiter got to see them in action.

We often connect virtually with amazing nurses and healthcare professionals every day—but meeting in person brings a whole new level of meaning. For our recruiter, getting to spend time face-to-face with the staff behind the calls was the “highlight of her week."

“It was amazing,” she shared. I’ve always known how talented and passionate our nurses are—but seeing them in action, laughing, connecting, and caring for people up close in real time was something else entirely. I love nurses and the work that THEY do, and being able to spend time with some of them one-on-one reminded me why I do this work too.”

The event was a beautiful blend of community, care, and connection. It was also a reminder of the importance of the relationships we build—not just between our staff and clients, but within our own team. Our recruiter was overwhelmed with gratitude to be part of a company that values these connections so deeply.
